Job Description:
A company is looking for a Registrar.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update the Collector Trauma Registry database for
trauma patients
Analyze and interpret data from various sources to ensure accurate
trauma registry records
Compile and submit statistical reports to relevant state and
national trauma systems
Required Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited program in Health Information
Technology or possess a high school diploma with 3 years of trauma
registry experience
Complete AAAM coding course and ATS Trauma Registry course within 1
year of hire
Minimum one year of experience in a Health Information Management
department
Preferred completion of RHIT or RHIA certification
Previous experience with trauma registry/database systems is
preferred
