Working across product, engineering, sales, logistics, operations,
and mission success, the Air Defense team develops, tests, deploys,
and sustains the Anduril CUAS Family of Systems (FoS) in
challenging operational environments worldwide.ABOUT THE ROLEThe
Air Defense Software Release process is one of the most complex at
Anduril. It requires the balance of validating changes across
multiple product, robot, MSE and test teams, as well as pushing
forward new features for short suspense customer requirements. This
person will work with a team that will develop processes & tools
that allow Anduril to develop and release safety critical systems
quickly and reliably. A strong Software Release Engineer will have
a proven track record of developing CI/CD pipelines and a
background in development, operations, and automated test coverage
infrastructure, both on-device and in the cloud.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, deploy, and manage automated testing and deployment
processes across our Air Defense team.
- Establish and maintain continuous integration/continuous
delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Provide expertise in ensuring high percentage code coverage at
the unit, component, and integration test level for a complex,
distributed robot system
- Collaborate with the Product, Robotics, Testing, and Mission
Operations teams to own and execute on a predictable release
process that balances the need for improvements to the product as
well as high assurance releases
- Monitor and enhance system reliability, performance, and
security through the use of metrics
- Clearly communicate to stakeholders the current status of open
releases, timelines, known issues, and any other relevant
context
- Lead process or technology development and acquisition in
support of release and quality improvement
- Design credible release documentation for internal and customer
consumption, working with the engineering and test teamsREQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
field.
- 5+ years of experience in a software test engineering role (or
similar), demonstrating leadership and innovation.
- 5+ years of experience in C++.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with modern technologies like CircleCI, GitHub, and
other DevOps relevant tools
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system
administration
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must be eligible to obtain and hold a US DoD Security
ClearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience owning a complex release process with multiple
hardware and software products
- Experience implementing automated testing frameworks in a
hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) environment
- Experience with microservice architectures
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g.,
Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Experience with Nix/NixOS
- Knowledge of Agile methodologiesUS Salary Range: $132,000 -
$198,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on
a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary
only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to)
work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or
business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are
