Job Details

Job Duties

• Analyze blueprints and other documentation of for complex parts and assemblies.
• Program 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC Mills (using Gibbs, or we will train).
• Set-up CNC Machines when needed.
• Perform close tolerance CNC Machining when needed.
• Consult with Shop Foreman, and Sales Department staff to resolve issues.
  Manufacturing Engineer Requirements
  
  • 7 years minimum experience as a mill machinist.
  • 5 axis programming experience is a must.
  • ISO9001 experience a must, AS9100 QMS experience a plus.
  • Aerospace experience a plus.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD software .
  • Ability to read and clearly understand engineering drawings.
  • Set-up skills required.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to work well with Shop Foreman, machinists and cost estimators for part production analysis, as well as management..
  • GD&T knowledge.
  • BS Degree in a related manufacturing discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
