Job Description: Provides professional and technical skills to ensure safety, comfort, personal hygiene and the protection of patients in the provision of patient care. Over seen by the assigned RN and/or Clinical Coordinator. Reports to the Manager of MedSurg and Administrative Director. Qualifications - External Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the unit. Knowledge of growth and development over the life span. Must be able to communicate effectively, in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Formal nurse assistant course and/or one year nurse assistant experience preferred.
• CA Certified Nurse Assistant required.
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required.
• Non-violent crisis intervention/verbal de-escalation course within 3 months of hire. #LI-SAR Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law. Pay Range: $1.00 - $100.00
  Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employees qualifications and experience.
