Job Description:
A company is looking for an Assistant Vice President-Controller
& Assistant Treasurer.
Key Responsibilities
Directs the preparation and analysis of statutory and GAAP
financial statements for various stakeholders
Oversees the Financial Department team and manages general
accounting operations, budgeting, and compliance
Ensures compliance with state regulations and oversees internal and
external audits of financial statements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Ten years of accounting, finance, or related experience
Five years of supervisory experience
Life insurance accounting experience and CPA strongly preferred
