Position Overview:This position will primarily focus on supporting the daily and month end general accounting activities as well as being a backup to several roles on the team. We are looking for someone who is interested in building a future with a high performing team, in a rapidly growing company with a long history and Great Place to Work certified. This position will report directly to the Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities include:

• Update and maintain reconciliations for various current asset and liability accounts and book associated journal entries.
• Manage the bank reconciliation process including applying/clearing incoming and outgoing payments and completing the bank reconciliation schedule at month-end.
• Help manage intercompany and clear intercompany transactions.
• Fixed Asset, Capex and Leases management
• Support internal and external audit functions along with certain compliance initiatives.
• Help drive automation and transparency related to banking and current asset/liability accounts.
• Manage credit card accrual and support.
• Manage KPIs tracking including those for AP and AR.
• Assist Senior Accountant with preparing filings for various state and local taxes.
• Be the primary backup for AP which includes approving invoice coding, maintaining workflows for approval, work with purchasing and vendors to resolve issues and help manage the AP automation tool.
• Be the primary backup for credit/collections which includes responding to customer inquiries and reviewing orders that are on hold for credit/collection issues and releasing as appropriate.
• Various other ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks as assigned. Requirements:Required Qualifications (must have):
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Microsoft Office - working knowledge.
  • Microsoft Excel - intermediate to advanced skills
  • Minimum one (1) year recent relevant work experience
  • Strong communication skills in the English language (listening, verbal, written, presentation, inter-personal)Additional Qualification (nice to have):
    • Additional experience beyond one year
    • Experience in manufacturing industry
    • Working knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning)
    • Some knowledge of SAP
    • Be comfortable with large amounts of data.Pay TransparencyThe current pay rate for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Rate of pay will depend on factors such as market conditions and location, job-related knowledge and skills, education, training and experience. If hired, employment will be at will.
